Varta was born from frustration. Real frustration — the kind you feel at 2am when you're deleting the same "guaranteed passive income" spam for the 47th time that week.

I'm Daryna Fornalska, and I built Varta after managing Telegram communities with 10,000+ members. I tried every anti-spam bot available. Rose Bot required endless keyword configuration. Combot focused on analytics over spam protection. Shieldy's CAPTCHAs frustrated legitimate members. And every bot I tried either missed sophisticated spam or deleted legitimate messages.

The breaking point was watching a crypto scammer post identical phishing links in three different groups I managed — within minutes — because each group's spam filters were isolated. I thought: this is ridiculous. Why can't the bot learn across groups? Why can't it understand context instead of just matching keywords?

So I built Varta. An AI bot that actually learns your group's patterns. That catches image spam, QR codes, and sophisticated scams. That lets you start in shadow mode so you can trust its judgment before giving it power. That works silently — spam disappears, members never see the machinery.

Today, Varta protects thousands of Telegram groups and channels across 33 languages. But the mission hasn't changed: moderation should happen in the background, not eat your day.

Varta is GDPR compliant. We're an EU company, store primary data on EU servers (Finland, Hetzner), and comply with all European data protection regulations.

Data we collect: User IDs, message content (for spam analysis), group settings, admin preferences. Messages are analyzed in real-time and not stored long-term unless flagged as spam (retained for 90 days for admin review).

AI processing: We use Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), and Google (Gemini) for spam analysis. These providers process data under Data Processing Agreements and do not use API-submitted data for training their models.

Your rights: Request data deletion via /deletedata command in Telegram or email us. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
